AS part of a host of half-term fun at Bromsgrove's Artrix Patrick Lynch from CBeebies will be pulling the strings in a wonderful stage production of The Curious Adventures of Pinocchio.

Based on the best loved children’s classic, this charming show is ideal for young ones.

Crickets, cats, foxes and of course the world-famous Pinocchio will spring out of the puppet box and Patrick will bring them to life.

Also showing is Zootropolis, which sees a fugitive fox and a rookie bunny cop uncover a conspiracy.

Officer Judy Hopps discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy.

Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox.

And last but by no means least, families are invited to join Birmingham’s comic housewife Mrs Barbara Nice and friends for Comedy with Cake.

Barbara will be joined by Maureen Younger and Ian Crawford for an afternoon session of fun and fondant.

The Curious Adventures of Pinocchio is on Sunday, May 29 at 2pm.

Zootropolis is screening at Artrix Cinema on May 31 and June 1.

Comedy with Cake is in the Artrix foyer on Sunday, June 5 at 2pm.
