PEOPLE are needed to help review the NHS 111 service.

The service which was launched in the West Midlands last year as an enquiry number for urgent health queries is seeking willing participants to review the service.

Volunteers are invited to join a locally organised event where they will be able to feedback their thoughts, ideas and opinions on the effectiveness and efficiency of the service. Volunteers can be experienced 111 users, or completely new to the service.

Anybody interested in taking part in the focus groups will be invited to call through to a test call centre in advance so that they can experience the service first hand.

The work forms part of the strategy development of the service in the West Midlands area and will assist the commissioners of the service to establish patient and public opinion moving forward.

To get involved, email engagement.westmidlands111@nhs.net or call 0121 612 3941.
