A COUPLE of Redditch beauties have made it through to the finals of Miss Worcestershire.
Harriet Green from Alvechurch is a zoology student at the university of Leicester studying ant behaviour for her third year thesis.
As part of the Miss Worcestershire competition, which seeks to find a beauty, as well as brains, to represent the county, she has ran a 10km race to raise money for Beauty With A Purpose.
The charity gives young women the opportunity to use their abilities to make a lasting contributions to sick and disadvantaged people.
So far Harriet has raised nearly £300.
Also taking part in the competition is resident Rachel Baker, 20.
Rachel is a fashion student studying in Wolverhampton for a degree in fashion and textiles.

The final of the competition is on November 2 in Worcester.
