A ROAD will be closed next week for the completion of urgent surfacing works.
Redditch Borough Council will be making urgent repairs to the access road at the side of number 68 Bromsgrove Road near Windmill Nursery on Monday, March 9.
The road, which is also used to access a small car park, will be closed from 7.30am until 4pm with only those accessing properties allowed during this time.
The work is being completed to fix some large potholes which appeared due to winter damage.
Matthew Mead, from Redditch Borough Council, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the sudden road closure, however the condition of the road has deteriorated very quickly. The completion of the works will mean the area is easier to use and safer for drivers and pedestrians alike.”
