RESIDENTS in Redditch, Alcester and Studley are experiencing a dry spell due to a burst pipe in Studley.

The pipe, which burst this morning, (Thursday, August 25) at Green Lane Farm, Redditich Road, Studley, has left thousands of residents to be left without water or with low pressure.

The burst happened just as residents were due to get ready for work.

A spokesman from Severn Trent said: "We received reports this morning of a burst water pipe on Redditich Road, Studley, which may be causing water supplies to be off or at low pressure for some of our customers.

"Our teams went straight out to investigate and are now working to bring water in from another network of pipes to get supplies back on for everyone while we complete the repairs.

"We know how difficult it is to have no water, especially at this time of day when you’re trying to get ready for work and we’re sorry for the inconvenience this may be causing.

"We’d like to reassure our customers that we’re working hard to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible.”
