Head along to a nostalgic performance reimagining some of the biggest box office hits in cinema history.

Desert Island Flicks, performed by Spiltmilk Dance, will be hosted by Feckenham Village Hall on Sunday, April 14 at 7.30pm.

The show is a blockbuster, adventure and romcom hybrid that takes audiences through abbreviated versions of various significant moments in the history of film, in a self-proclaimed "big fat ray of sunshine in the world of dance and performance".

The production will take attendees on a 90-minute journey through more than 120 hours of famous film moments from the past 80 years across a variety of genres, from plot-twist thrillers to tug at the heartstrings tear-jerkers.

The show will be accompanied by a soundtrack comprising some of the biggest movie hit songs.

The event is part of the performing arts scheme, Live and Local, which aims to bring live arts to people's doorstep.

This performance has been sponsored by Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council, and Redditch Borough Council.
