POLICE officers swooped on a petrol station in a Worcestershire town.
Eyewitnesses said they saw a number of police cars and officers, including police dogs, at Texaco garage on Worcester Road in Droitwich.
They also claimed the police helicopter was hovering over the town - though West Mercia has not confirmed if this was deployed to the scene on Tuesday (May 7).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Officers attended the Texaco garage on Worcester Road in Droitwich on Tuesday afternoon following enquiries in connection with a wanted man."
