FAIRFIELD Villa piled more misery on Coton Green as they inflicted a 3-1 win on Saturday.

Jack Allbutt set the ball rolling with an early goals, before Ellis Blakemore and Connor Collins continued their prolific campaigns.

It was Fairfield's second win over Green this season, as they avenged a shock 1-0 league loss in August.

Villa also hammered Coton 11-0 in the Les James Challenge Cup.

Joint manager Paul Oakes said: "It was the most one-sided game you can imagine, we could have scored 11 goals again and Coton's keeper made five or six excellent saves.

"Jak Albutt got the ball rolling and Shane Calder produced one of the passes of the season for Ellis Blakemore's goal.

"That's four wins in a row and the most pleasing thing is that we are having all of our players available.

"Earlier in the season player availability was inconsistent and so were we."

Villa, who still have hopes of finishing second in the Midlands Division One, take on Knowle at home on Saturday (3pm ko).

They then go to Studley in the Smedley Crooke Cup next Thursday (7.45pm ko).

Meanwhile, Villa's league rivals Kenilworth Town KH and Sporting Glades will learn if they will be allowed to continue in the league in the next few days.

Both sides have struggled to field teams and were given two weeks by league chiefs to find a solution to their issues.

Elsewhere, the reserves suffered a last-gasp 2-1 loss to Brocton in the Challenge Urn.
