Studley played their third consecutive away game and kept their fifth clean sheet in a row as the edged nearer the championship at Cirencester on Saturday.
They never looked in danger of losing the game although their performance was a little edgy in the first half missing several chances and Bunn in the Studley goal was forced to make a very good save on the stroke of half time from a fine strike from a Cirencester forward.
So 0-0 at half time and all to play for in the second half.
Studley’s nerves were eased almost immediately in the second half with a lovely goal from Sean Brain who cut inside his man and unleashed a shot from 29yds which found the bottom corner of the net on 46 minutes.
This settled Studley down and started to dominate the game although Cirencester always looked a danger on the odd time they ventured forward.
The game as a contest was finished on 75 minutes when goalscorer Brain this time turned provider setting up Robbie Bunn for a simple tap in.
Substitute Odane Barnes came on and was unfortunate to strike the cross bar twice once with a shot and once with a header. Final score Cirencester 0-2 Studley.
