Studley travelled to Pershore in the Bluefin sports cup.
The game kicked off with neither side controlling the game with Pershore happy to keep the ball by playing across their back four and Studley letting them have the ball and not pressing the ball until it came into the Studley half.
Pershore were finding Jake Bloomer’s long throws difficult to handle but neither keeper was troubled in a dull first half.
However right on the stroke of half time from a Bloomer throw Sam Jackson was pulled down in the box and Sean Brain duly despatched the penalty.
The second half started with Pershore showing a bit more urgency having most of the ball but failing to create anything and Studley defence never really troubled.
Indeed Studley almost doubled their lead on 70 mins whith Harvey Smith hitting the post.
Pershore continued to press forward and did get the leveller in the 10th min of injury time when Sam Clark rose highest to head home from a corner.
So onto penalties and with Studley scoring all five off their’s and Brendon Bunn saving the first Pershore kick Studley progressed to the next round 5 v 3.
